Product Description

Production Process

LDPE is produced through a high-pressure polymerization process of ethylene gas using either tubular reactors or autoclave reactors. The production involves:

  1. Ethylene Feedstock Preparation – Ethylene gas is purified and mixed with initiators.
  2. High-Pressure Polymerization – The reaction occurs under extreme pressure (1,500–3,000 bar) and temperature (150–300°C) to form polyethylene chains.
  3. Separation & Cooling – The polymerized LDPE is cooled and separated from unreacted ethylene.
  4. Extrusion & Pelletizing – The molten polymer is extruded into strands, cooled, and cut into uniform pellets.
  5. Quality Control & Packaging – The final product undergoes strict quality testing before packaging for distribution.
