Product Description

Production Process
PET resin is produced through polycondensation of ethylene glycol (EG) and terephthalic acid (TPA) or dimethyl terephthalate (DMT). The process includes the following steps:
- Esterification – Reaction of EG with TPA or DMT to form bis(hydroxyethyl) terephthalate (BHET).
- Polycondensation – Heating BHET under vacuum to form PET polymer chains.
- Pelletizing – The polymer is cooled and cut into granules for further processing.
- Crystallization & Drying – The granules are crystallized and dried to remove residual moisture, ensuring optimal processing performance.
